1. Educational Service Description

The Men Barber School offers professional barbering training in the following modalities:

Standard Program: 1,000 certified hours of practice and theory, for students starting from scratch or coming from High School level.

Crossover Cosmetologist-to-Barber Program: 300 certified hours, exclusively for individuals who already hold a valid Cosmetology License.

The goal of both programs is to prepare the student to obtain their official Class A License from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).

2. Financial Terms and Promotions

Pricing by modality:

Complete Class A Career: $14,000, with a $2,000 down payment and weekly payments of $200–$250, interest-free.

High School (14 and older): $9,600, with a $2,000 down payment and weekly payments of $200–$250, interest-free.

Crossover Cosmetologist-to-Barber (300 hours): $4,800, with a $1,800 down payment and weekly payments of $200–$250, interest-free.

Scholarships and discounts: The Men Barber School offers scholarships and discounts from 10% to 40% based on availability and schedule. Scholarships are reviewed and validated only in person at either of our two schools. Specific percentages are not guaranteed by phone, message, or online.

Payment plans: Interest-free financing plans are subject to validation of requirements during an in-person interview with our team.

3. SMS / Text Messaging Program

Program description and use cases: The Men Barber School sends SMS/text messages to contacts who opt in through our website form. Messages may include responses to your inquiry, free-class and campus-visit scheduling and reminders, scholarship and financing information, promotional offers, and event announcements.

How you opt in: You opt in by checking the consent box on our website form. Consent is optional and is not a condition of enrollment.

Message frequency and rates: Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Opt-out and help: Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. Reply HELP for help.

Carrier liability: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Age restriction: This messaging program is intended for individuals 18 years of age or older. Prospective students under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian consent on their behalf.

Privacy: Your information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website.

4. Communication Consent

By providing your phone number, you give your express consent to receive service updates, appointment reminders, and messages related to your request through the following channels: SMS text messages, phone calls, and WhatsApp messages. Message and data rates may apply depending on your provider. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to SMS or by requesting it through any channel.

5. Attendance and No-Show Policy

When you schedule your Free Class, The Men Barber School reserves an exclusive spot for you at one of our two schools. Our system sends confirmation reminders 48 and 24 hours in advance. If you do not confirm after two contact attempts, or do not show up on the day of your appointment without prior notice, The Men Barber School reserves the right to release the reserved spot. 6. Privacy

Your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is published and accessible on our website. We do not share your data with third parties for commercial purposes without your express consent.

The Men Barber School reserves the right to modify class schedules, curricula, or promotion terms with prior notice, always in compliance with Texas state regulations. Obtaining the Class A License from the TDLR depends solely on meeting the requirements established by that state agency, including the applicant's legal status, and is not the responsibility of The Men Barber School.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States. Any dispute related to these terms will be resolved in the appropriate courts of Austin, Texas.

Becas y descuentos: The Men Barber School ofrece becas y descuentos del 10% al 40% según disponibilidad y horarios. Las becas se revisan y validan únicamente en persona en cualquiera de nuestras dos escuelas. No se garantizan porcentajes específicos por teléfono, mensaje o en línea.
